Blackridge Advisors believes you should understand what estate planning costs before you commit. Below is our estate planning fee structure. Package planning is quoted after a consultation because the right plan depends on your family and your goals; individual documents are offered at the flat fees shown. Fees are current as of publication and are subject to change; this page is informational and is not a quote or an offer of representation.
Estate planning packages
Most clients are best served by a coordinated plan rather than a single document. We offer three package levels, each quoted after a one-hour consultation:
Will-Based Planning
For the family or individual who understands their estate will likely go through probate, wants to guarantee minor children are cared for, and wishes to appoint people to make medical and financial decisions on their behalf. Includes a will, medical powers of attorney and advance directives, financial powers of attorney, and protective provisions for minor children. The will can create trusts at death to protect property for the people you love. Quoted after consultation.
Revocable Living Trust Planning
For those who want family wealth passed on with ease and privacy, without court involvement or unnecessary delay. Provides documents that protect you immediately if you become incapacitated, keep your loved ones out of court, and avoid the costs of probate. Includes revocable living trust(s), medical powers of attorney and advance directives, a pour-over will, and protective provisions for minor children. Asset transfers are guided by our office. Quoted after consultation.
Wealth Preservation Planning
For those who need sophisticated tools to plan for the transfer of business interests, protection from creditors, or additional trusts such as standalone retirement trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, and asset protection trusts. Includes everything in the Revocable Living Trust plan, plus additional trusts or business entities, with asset transfers guided by our office. Quoted after consultation.
What our base fees include
- Review of your completed intake questionnaires.
- A one-hour estate planning consultation with the attorney.
- Drafting of all documents.
- One hour of attorney time for changes or questions.
- A brief signing meeting at our office.
